Most Nationalities need to pay a visa of US$50.00 single and
US$80 double entry to enter Zambia. Please contact us for the
latest information on these fees.
ZIMBABWE
VISAS
·
Most nationalities require these. At the border you can acquire
a single entry (cost varies with nationality) . For those
arriving at Vic Falls airport, coming to Fawlty towers and then
returning to Vic Falls you will require a double entry on
arrival at the airport. You can only get a multi entry on
application to Harare.

STORAGE

WEATHER
·
The wet season is from December to end March. This does not mean
it rains every day and when it does it is a very large and
short shower usually in late afternoon.

A typical month may only bring 6 rainy days at all. April to
July is cool and clear with no rain. August-November is hot and
clear with cloud build up late in the day but no rain.
BUSES
·
There are several buses a day between Livingstone and Lusaka,
times vary, but usually the first bus leaves around 6am and the
last one around 2pm. Tickets should be booked and paid for the
day before departure at the bus station in town. Cost is around
$20pp.
·
From Vic Falls to Bulawayo both ways every day hourly. However
these busses can often be unreliable depending upon fuel
availability in Zimbabwe.

The Intercape Mainliner runs between Livingstone and Windhoek 3
days a week. Tickets can be purchased online using a credit card
at

FLIGHTS
·
International Departure tax is included in the ticket cost.
·
Domestic Departure tax is $8 per person.
·
Departure tax at Vic Falls is US$45 per person payable in US$.
·
There are daily flights from Livingstone to Lusaka.

TRAINS
·
Trains run 3 times a week from Livingstone to Lusaka and Lusaka
to Livingstone. The rail line is very worn and trains are
unreliable. We would not recommend them.

Trains run 3 times a week from Kapiri Mposhi to Dar es Salaam.
You can book tickets in Lusaka or at Kapiri. They are run by the
Tazara Company and are excellent.
·
There is an overnight train between Victoria Falls and Bulawayo,
however this again can often be unreliable. The journey time is
approximately 12hrs
